As Professional Development Specialist in PBL at IMSA, Brian Grublesky conducts workshops in PBL design and coaching for teachers throughout Illinois and for districts throughout the country. He also collaborates with teachers and mentors them as they implement PBL strategies in their classrooms. Prior to 2011, when he began his work in this role, he taught Biology and Forensic Science to students just south of the city of Chicago and was a middle school science teacher in the southwest suburbs. He also participated with the Summer Sleuths program at Benedictine University. He has his B.S. in Molecular Biology and his M.S. in Microbiology and Immunology.
